Corporate Social Responsibility

Liberty Life Insurance Zambia Limited is a responsible corporate citizen that invests in communities as an important and integral part of doing business. We aim to promote responsible corporate behaviour and practices by adopting various Corporate Social Initiatives (CSI) to meet some of the social development needs of the country.

In March 2015, Zambia commemorated its third annual Financial Literacy Week under the theme “Every Ngwee Counts”. The annual event focussed on educating children, youth and adults on how to achieve a positive culture of saving, hence the slogan “a better life through saving”. The event features organisations and regulators in the financial services sector.

We participated by sponsoring learning materials to 30 pupils, of which 10 were from the special unit (Deaf & Mute), and the rest from Lusaka Girls Secondary School.

Liberty Life Insurance Zambia Limited is a company that has the advantage of knowing and the power to change realities. This is why we roll up our sleeves in support of education initiatives and projects in our communities that support the wellbeing of our economy.

In support of the International Nelson Mandela Day, we donated 200 books to grade 2 learners at Northmead Primary School and Lotus Primary School to encourage learners to read in order to rise.
